HOUSE COLORS: white and blue green
HISTORICALLY: The Manderlys were driven from the Reach, but the Starks gave them their land in exchange for fealty. Manderly has gained wealth and recognition by opening lines of trade with other countries, thereby affecting the economy of the North in major ways. Many new items have been introduced into the lands through trade, and many new people have arrived - some as far as Essos, Dorne and other locations.
House Manderly does not sit still on the lines of propriety by having so many servants in their house. Rather, they are a hard-working family who are ambitious and wise with their coins. When called for, they can pull together and dress to show their wealth by attending functions with other nobility, however they are laid back and warm and friendly when not working.
It is not uncommon to find the local business folk dining with this House as well as any others seeking warm company, good food and plenty of laughter.
While some of this House have chosen to live near Winterfell at this time, it is not unheard of to hear of them taking long trips, to return to the call of the sea.
